Helper ITotals on Table visual vs Excel export do not match
Hi all
I have a Table in PowerBI desktop that is showing the Count (Distinct) of an item per Date created and per Type. The grand total of the counts displayed in my table is 158,238. However when I export my data to .csv and calculate the grand total of the counts it is a bit larger coming to 159,355... so differing by just over 1100.
Its not an issue of export size as there are only around 3800 rows.
Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong and have suggestions on how to fix it... The visual total is correct.

Whatever it is you are conting has entries in more than 1 row but in the grand total in the visual it is only getting counted onces. When you sum up the lines on the export you are double counting the 100 things that are counted on more than 1 row of your visual.
