Totals at Matrix

Hi,

I have put a matrix and put two columns Actual and Target. I have changed them to show Average from values. I want to show the sum of the Target at total=28 and Actual=6. But I have changed at PowerBI desktop to show Average for the Actual and Target, it is doing Average at Totals also. Any help?

Hey @deepsmehta ,

you have to create a measure like so:

SUMX(
	VALUES('<tablename>'[Stage])
	, CALCULATE(AVERAGE('<tablename>'[name of the numeric column]))
)

Hopefully, this provides what you are looking for.

Regards,
Tom

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:
