Top N slicer to work with each drill down

Hi,

I am working on a visual showing top n at different levels of a hierarchy, currently at the top level of the hierarchy i have this measure to allow the user to adjust using a slicer how many results are displayed:

TopN Directorate =

VAR SelectedTop = SELECTEDVALUE('TopN'[TopN])

RETURN

SWITCH(TRUE(),

    SelectedTop = 0, [Count of Competency for Passed Fit Test],

    RANKX (

            ALLSELECTED(  'Use Sheet'[Directorate] ),

            [Count of Competency for Passed Fit Test]

                )

                  <= SelectedTop,

        [Count of Competency for Passed Fit Test]

)

When i drill down from directorate to the next level which is service i would still like the top n slicer to work and so on with each level of the hierarchy. I'm hoping it'll be a simple asjustment to the measure i am currently using.

Fairly new to PowerBI and struggling to find a solution as i am inexperienced with DAX, any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
