Tooltips for Stacked Column Chart

Hi everyone!

I have a stacked column chart over the date period. And I'm wondering, is it possible to calculate legend that will show values not only for the hovering segment of the bar but also for other segments?

So, for example, I hover over the green segment of the last bar and I see values for all segments of this bar:

Hope it's possible🤞

Hi, @username

Yes, this is not hard to achieve. You can use the tooltip page or the tooltip field. I've made a simple example to show this result. I created a simple table containing sales, costs, and profits.

Method1: Drag the fields that need to be displayed into the tooltip

Method2: To create a tooltip report page

Hey @Anonymous ,

sure, that should be possible with a tooltip as an own page.

Check the following tutorial on how to do that:

Power BI report page tooltip - How to create one in Power BI Desktop - YouTube

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards

May be is it possible to do not by using page tooltips but using calculations?

Thanks for your answer!

But I don't actually understand how to exclude filtering of tooltip by legend (colors of the bar) and keep filtering by slicers on the page.
