Tooltip values don't update on interactions

Should the values on tooltips update on interactions with other visuals? Just noticed a count value I have as a tooltip keeps the same value when I select a something on another visual and it should ...

    Hi@ deasons22

    After my research,the values on tooltips will not update on interactions with other visuals.

    If you want it can be update when  interacting with other visuals ,you may try to the way as below first:

    Use COUNTROWS function to create a simple measure and drag it into visual ,when  interacting with other visuals, it will be  Highlighted.

     

    Of course ,you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner

    Thanks that would work for me in the short term and I'll put the idea out on Power BI Ideas.
