Hi All,
I have a requirement to create a shift roaster in power BI, below is the format given in Weeks.
I have to display Weeks along with timing PST and highlight the shift details during this time.
In Power BI expected output should be like below displaying time and week and highlight the time with shift details
Please help how can we achieve this.
Thanks in Advance,
Neelofar Shama
@Anonymous you can create a custom calender .
Thanks for the reply but this data is coming from a Strored Procedure so I cannot modify it.
Can you tell me how well can I represent a shift roaster in Power BI which shows the associates working in which shift weekly.
@Anonymous , Separate out Data and time in separate columns
create Date and Time table.
Time table , create bucket of time you need - https://kohera.be/blog/power-bi/how-to-create-a-time-table-in-power-bi-in-a-few-simple-steps/
Date = [datetime].date
or
Date = date(year([datetime]),month([datetime]),day([datetime]))
Time= [datetime].Time
or
Time= date(hour([datetime]),minute([datetime]),second([datetime]))
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
