Hi guys, I currently have a title Dynamic on my TITLE but now i want the title to also reflect the buttons name? Example "Weekly Progress hours by PF" please help
Solved! Go to Solution.
Solution I figured out:
1. Create two copies of the title text box. One will say Hours one will say PF.
2. Open the Selection pane. Rename the title text boxes to "PF title" & "Hours title"
3. Create 2 bookmarks. One will be PF, the other hour
4. Hide "PF title". Hide PF chart visual
5. Update "Hours bookmark"
6. Unhide "PF title. Unhide PF chart visual.
7. Hide "Hours title". Hide hours chart visual
8. Update "PF bookmark"
9. Link the hours button to the Hours bookmark
10. Link the PF button to the PF bookmark
11. Deselect "data" from bookmark options

Hi @Nfuentes86,
Thank you for the follow-up.
As per my understanding of the query, you are already using a dynamic title based on the selected discipline, and now you would like to include the selected button, i.e., the bookmark name, in the title — for example: Weekly Progress Hours by PF.
Since Power BI buttons do not retain state directly, a suitable approach is to combine them with a hidden slicer and synchronize it using bookmarks.
Kindly find below the steps which may help resolve the issue:
Create a supporting table that lists your bookmark or button names (e.g., Weekly View, Monthly View, etc.).
Use this table in a hidden slicer on your report page.
Update each bookmark to not only switch the view but also set the slicer selection.
Create a dynamic title measure that combines the selected discipline and the selected bookmark name.
Apply this measure as a conditional title for your visual using the field value formatting option.
If you find our response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and consider giving it a kudos. This will assist other community members who may be facing similar queries.
Thank you.

if this doesn't resolve the issue, kindly provide a sample input masking sensitive data
I am already using title dynamic for the title based on disicpline name selection but now I want to ADD the buttons name selection. The buttons are bookmarks.
