Timeseries with a dynamic legend that depends on slicer choices based on parent/child hierarchy

So, I have a dataset with multiple hierarchies (I only provide 3 below as an example but it's more). I want to be able to create a timeseries where if you select something from a Tier it shows all the Children in the Legend or a line for each one and averages the values for those children.

So, the x-axis are the dates and the y axis is the average of the values but I can't get the Legend to dynamically shift down to the children relating to that hierarchy. I feel like it somehow combines parameters but just can't seem to get the last bit. I don't want the user to have to select Tier1 or Tier2 but instead because they filtered down to an entity in Tier1 it shows only the related entities in Tier2 in the legend and thus a line for each one; repeat for each hierarchy. When no hierarchy is selected it should show a line for each distinct Tier1 entity.

I feel like the next step is sort of this video but I'm having trouble crossing the finish line with it: https://youtu.be/KReYWx5NXYg

@shmooel , Not very clear. If you want switch legend field parameter can help, Also you should able switch measure with the legend

Or you can switch measure using isinscope

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

Appreciate your Kudos.
