My desktop Power BI is fully updated. I created a new dashboard. There is only one calendar table with two fields: year and date. The timeline control does not refresh visually when I filter the year, but when I transform it into a table view the data is correctly modified. Does anyone have any ideas?
Hi
Do you update your Power BI Desktop to the version 2.61.5192.601 (2018/8)?
I test with the lastest version.
I add date column in the Timeline slicer and a table visual (set date column as date hierarchy), when I filter year in the Timeline slicer, the data in the table doesn't show correctly.
But when I change the "date hierachy" to "date", it can show correctly.
How about your situation?
Best Regards
Maggie
Hi, Maggie. Thank you for your kind support.
Yes, my version of Power BI is updated, as you mentioned
Even using the date hierarchy in the table, the timeline was not able to properly filter its contents.
An interesting point is that when I try to use date hierarchy in the timeline object, only the year ("Ano" in portuguese) is avaliable and the visual object does not display anything.
