Hi,
I've been trying to work out a simple way to add a number of days to Today() via a slicer to effectively travel forward in time.
I have a bunch of calculations comparing dates based on a calculated column containing Today() and want to be able to move forward in time to show the impact if nothing else changes. In my simple head it would be Today()+[DaysToAdd} ; where [DaysToAdd] is an unrelated table/column ranging from 1-1825 for example, but I cannot find a way to add the two column together as they are unrelated.
Any ideas would be a great help.
Thanks

Hi @DavidSasse
If you are using slicer ( set as between ) to adjust it then you can adjust it from the right, or you can use a ( list ) settings for your slicer to select individual nuber.
Hi @DavidSasse
The simple way would be.
Measure 2 = TODAY() + MAX( YourTable[DaysToAdd] )
Thanks for the quick reply Mariusz, but althought it enables the calculation to work the answer seems to be always the same regardsless of the slicer entry. I guess this is because of using the MAX function.
Any other ideas?
