Time Since Calculation

I have to calculate a the hours/minutes since a date/time stamp column i am using the below formula but it is producint the current time and not the hours/ minutes since the date time column.  All of the date and times in the column are within the past 24 hours . 

Since_Arrived_Time = now()-OfficeTrax[Arrived Date].[Date]

Since_Arrived_Time = DATEDIFF(OfficeTrax[Arrived Date].[Date],now(),MINUTE)
