I am creating a dashboard with regards to ticket metrix. I have been given an export of all of our tickets in an Excel spreadsheet. I upload that to Power BI where I also call in data from Active Directory. I do that because the ticekting system does not hold any data about the user except their email address. So I have created a relationship using the mail field between my Excel data and AD. this allows me to create a chart on number of tickets by region. We have each users region set in AD using the division attribute field.
the problem I'm having is that for one specific user, my data is being duplicated. there are 2 records for each ticket he has raised, 1 where his division field shows the correct region and the other where it shows the division field as blank. this means his tickets are getting counted twice 1 for his correct region and one for a column called "(blank)".
Does anyone know why this might be happening and how I can correct it?

Hi @OmeloP ,
Could you please provide some sample data (exclude sensitive data) in ticketing system and Excel data in order to make troubleshooting? And what's the based field and cardinality(1:M?) which the tables created the relationship?
On the other hand, you can refer the following links to configure your model and check whether they can help you resolve the problem.
