I have a field inside my model named LogEnd, as follow:-
and on design mode inside my power bi desktop i can filter based on it, as follow:-
but on run time inside my browser when working on the published version, i am getting this error "This field was deleted from the model and can not be used as a filter" , as follow:-
so what could be causing this problem?
Thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
Go to the report, click on the visual on the report page, you will see the "bad filter" there, remove that filter... The filter remains when deleted from the report "on the visual"... You will need to check all your visuals for that removed field and manually remove each filter. Refresh everything then republish.
Thank for the reply from Ritaf1983.
Hi @mvcsharepointde ,
If clearing the cache and refreshing doesn't work, try using XMLA to connect to this semantic model, and then use the following code to check if the column really exists in the semantic model.
evaluate
INFO.COLUMNS()
This code can be executed and you will be able to see all the columns in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
If the problem is not solved, you can try to remove the LogEnd field from the filter panel and re-add it again in the edit mode of the report in power service.

@Ritaf1983 thanks for the reply, yes i republished and i replaced the old one , but still the same problem ,, any advice ?
thanks
I have to mention that these are issues that are difficult to resolve without access to the file. I would try refreshing the report, including reviewing the steps of the disappearing table in Power Query to ensure everything is correct, clearing the browser cache, and republishing.
