Hi:
I made a copy of my Power BI .pbix file, opened it, chose "Transform Data", and changed the "Source" for each of the three tables.
I did this, to "point" my Power BI report to a different but similarly structured database.
Applying these changes displays the error, "The key didn’t match any rows in the table".
How do I eliminate this error, without removing and re-adding the tables?
Thanks!
John

Hi @jellis1971
Thanks for the reply from amitchandak .
@jellis1971 , I have done the following test for your reference:
The data source I'm using is SQL Server.
Then I modified the connected table
I'm getting the same error as you.
Then I deleted "Navigation."
Modify the corresponding form name, then Close & Apply.
Best Regards,
Yulia Xu

@jellis1971 , Open Power Query. For one of the tables, there will be an error in the step where the column name does not match. You need to go and change the name there. It is usually in the rename or change datatype step.
