The key didn't match any row in the table error

Hi,

I'm getting the "The key didn't match any row in the table error" after refreshing a new EXCEL file as a data source.

It is not clear why I'm getting this error. I copied and pasted the exact values from one spreadsheet to the main Source spreadsheet that the report was using in the past to include updated information but getting this error.

After selecting the Tranform Data option to see what's up, I see the below error,

In my data source, the name of the field is Start date (with lower case "d" for date).

I getting the error below also which doesn't make sense.

Any help is greatly appreciate it.

Thanks a to!

@kamini ,

  1. Ensure that "Start date" in Power BI matches exactly as it appears in your Excel sheet, including case.
  2. Check that the Excel table or sheet names referenced in your Power BI query haven't changed. If the table or sheet name changed, update it in Power Query by going to the "Source" step and adjusting the name.

Let me know if this helps!

@kamini you are using a sheet name called ITD Projects make sure this is the exact name of the sheet in the Excel file, and make sure it is in the same case.
