Since yesterday, I am unable to refresh the dashboards online. Getting the error "The credentials provided for the PostgreSQL source are invalid.". Irony of the situation is that credentials are correct, I have checked, and its working fine with other datasent from same datasource. Can anyone explain me what could be the issue.
I have tried the following :
Cleared permissions, enetered password again, refreshed on PBI desktop and published again
Cleared cache, and published again.
Can someone please help.
Thanks
Kul
Hi @Admin210518,
How did you confirm these data credentials on the power bi service side? Did you use the same credentials as your report designed? Please share more detailed information to help us clarify your scenario:

BTW, it seems like you are working with Azure and PostgreSQL data sources. How did your data source host? Azure Database for PostgreSQL or PostgreSQL that installed in Azure VM?

@amitchandak I have done that, if you dont provide the credentials, it shows like the following
anyways, I have entered the credentials again, by clicking on edit credentials but it still shows the same error.
What is confusing me more is that some time, schedule refresh or manual refresh works, without any issue, and some time it gives error.
@Admin210518 , No, in power bi service you have to provide them again.
I think it is under dataset -> setting
Click on edit credentials and provide again
