Text parameter deciding which column (measure) to aggregate

Hello,

I am working on HR data.

I have employee+month level data which needs to be aggragated to produce metrics.

As far as I know Power BI does now faciliate text parameters.

I would like the end user to be able to select Headcount/FTE parameter which will give them total Headcount or FTE numbers based on their selection.

They also should be able to select the Data or Event type they are interested e.g. Headcount or Hires or Promotions and see the total Headcount or FTE for the selected data type.

I have followed the link below but it did not resolve my problem.
