I am trying to create a template file that pulls data in via API into Power BI.
I have two parameters (email & Password for the API) that the user is meant to enter so that an authentication token is generated and fed into a second query that pulls the data into the report.
When I open the PBIT file on my computer and put in the credentials, the report's visuals load fine but I shared the PBIT to other people to test using the same credentials and it didnt work. they run into this type of error.
I saw online somewhere that this is because I have the data source/permissions set on my computer. how do I get it to work on other computers? The end goal is to make this a template app.

Hi @lolololu ,
you already provide the access key in Power Query, but you didn't choose Anonymous authentication for the web data source, so the error throws out.
Please open Data Source Settings, then find the web data source, choose Anonymous like below:
