I have a workspace created with the checkboxed Develop Template Apps. I want to change this configuration, because I need to create an Organizational App, which I can't with this type of workspace. How can I change the settings?

Hi @Vcesano
Unfortunately, once a workspace is created with the "Develop Template Apps" option checked, it becomes a Template App workspace, and this specific setting cannot be reverted to a normal workspace. This limitation is designed to maintain the integrity and purpose of Template App workspaces, which are specialized for developing and distributing Template Apps outside your organization.
However, there are a couple of steps you can take to achieve your goal of creating an Organizational App:
Create a New Workspace: The most straightforward solution is to create a new workspace without selecting the "Develop Template Apps" option. This new workspace can then be used for developing and distributing Organizational Apps within your organization. For guidance on creating a new workspace, please refer to the documentation: Create a workspace.
Migrate Content: If you have developed content within the Template App workspace that you wish to use in the Organizational App, you can manually migrate this content to the new workspace. This process involves downloading or saving the reports, dashboards, and datasets from the Template App workspace and then uploading them to the new workspace.
Considerations for Future Workspace Creation: For future workspace creation, carefully consider the purpose of the workspace and whether you might need to switch between Template and Organizational App development. This foresight can help avoid the need for workspace reconfiguration or content migration later on.
I understand that this might not be the solution you were hoping for, but I hope this information helps you move forward with your project. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Jing
