Template Apps Disabled
In attempting to add the 'Microsoft Sample - Sales & Marketing' sample app as instructed in the Microsoft training, I receive the following error message: 'Can't install app - Installing template apps has been disabled for you. Please contact your administrator.' How do I identify my administrator?
Hi Anonymous ,
do you know who manages your Office365 portal / licenses?
That should be the right person.
Hi Anonymous ,
Enable this feature in tenant settings of the admin portal. If you don't have permission, you could ask your Power BI admin to do it.

Hi,
just to complement this post, using the o365 Tenant admin account or maybe another account with "Global Administration" privileges, go to the following URL to adjust settings:
https://app.powerbi.com/admin-portal/tenantSettings?language=en-US

* It is recommended to FIRST create a 'Security' group at O365 admin portal, select user as 'member' and then restrict that permissions to this created group.
