Taking an Average, with a partial month in consideration

Hi, I have worked out a complex way to do this but wanted to know if there was a simple way.

Let's say that today is September 15th.  That means we have completed approximately 8.5 months.  What is the easiest way to calculate a partial month into a decimal number?

The goal is to take an average of YTD sales.  So in the above example, I want to take $YTD / 8.5.  Thanks!

Hi, I was able to figure this out.  Here is the measure I used to figure out a partial month:

Month = MONTH(TODAY()) - 1 + (DAY(TODAY()) / DAY(EOMONTH(TODAY(), 0)))
