Hello,
I'm trying to do an actual vs budget income statement. However, despite my attempt at creating the relationships between the dates in the budget and actual dates (field MonthYear) with a date table, when slicing for a specific month, I'm getting the right data for the actual but not the budget. I also tried slicing by MonthYear in budget, nothing happens with the actual data.
Here's a link to my pbix: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m4eQXsuwwpXhMJ2YgUB6gpERkngzINbJ/view?usp=sharing
Can someone kindly help me?
Thanks in advance
Solved! Go to Solution.
Your date slicer needs to use DateTable, not Actual. This will allow the filter from DateTable to flow through to the Actual and Budget tables.
