I am new to Power BI and need to know if a data display feature is possible. I work in education and use PBI to summarize test data for students at the district level, about 1500 results per subject per grade level. I would like a table that would allow display of student data for multiple user selected tests, but list each test data individually.
Below is a sample of the data and way that I am trying to lay it out in PBI. The users would select the test for PBI to display. Thank you so much for any help!
This part of the data is the same for both tests | These two section are different tests selcted by the user.
Student LocID Cat1 Cat2 Cat3 Cat4 | User Selected Test #1 Data User Selected Test #2 Data

Name 2 LocID 2 Yes No No AA | 10 3065 16.95% No No No - - - - - -
Name 3 LocID 3 Yes Yes No H | 10 3065 16.95% No No No 21 3608 32.81% No No No

Hi @GregStaley ,
Based on your description, Power BI can fulfill the functionality you are looking for.
If you want to present your data in tabular form, you can choose table visual or matrix visual.
For filtering functions, you can either use slicer, or filter:

I am using a Slicer to have users select the two tests, but when I do, the results are combined. What I need ts to have each test displayed separately. Below I have a mocked up example of what I am looking for. The student name and ID are the same for both tests, but each test result is displayed separately.
Is that possible? Thank you so much for your help!

Hi @GregStaley ,
Maybe you can try this way:
I create two table visuals and two slicers:
Click the slicer in the lower left corner, click "Format", click "Edit interactions", and set the settings as shown in the following figure:
Then click on slicer in the bottom right corner and set it up as shown in the picture below:
The effect is shown below:

I was hoping to get them on the same table for easy export. I will keep looking for a solution. Thank you so much for helping.
