Hi,
I am trying to create a simple relationship between an existing tabe and a new table in power bi desktop.
The issue i am having is that the existing table appears to be blank when the relationship manager usually shows a preview of the data.
This table has been used for other relationships and the data exists for the visuals that use it.
I am trying to create a relationship between JimJobComm[JobNo] and JimJob - Kit[JobNo] and when i do, the program freezes and i have to close and re-open it (losing the relationship)
Can anyone help me figure this out?
Thanks
Paddy
@paddy_gfb , check how much memory power bi is taking and the system has some free memory.
You can try drag and drop. Drag the JobNo from one table and drop it on JobNo of another table.
I have tried deleting all un-necessary tables, restarting the computer and i can confirm that i have enough computer memory.
The existing connections to the table in question are working well, but it just wont let me add any new conenctions.
Hi @paddy_gfb ,
First, please make sure the field table JimJobComm[JobNo] on one side of the relationship with unique values. Besides this, could you please help check and answer the following questions in order to make troubleshooting?
In addition, please try to update the version of your Power BI Desktop to the latest one if it still not be the latest version.
Best Regards
Rena
