Table or Matrix with next 12 months in columns

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to have a table or matrix that will contain the next N months as columns.

I think I can do it if I'm okay with having the columns named +1, +2...+12, but that's not as user friendly as I'd like. Is there anyway to resolve the column names to be a dynamic range of Month Names?

Hi @donaldo

I'm afraid i cannot fully understand it.Could you share some sample data and expected output? You can also upload the .pbix file to OneDrive and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.

Hi cherch,

I am not certain I am at liberty to share the data.

I want to create a table (or matrix) that always has the next 12 months as columns. So for this month (January) it will look like this and any other standard table.

But when we go into february I want it to change to reflect the next 12 months. Feb - Jan (2020).

Hi @donaldo

You may refer to this post to get the table. Update the attached file for your reference.

Hi,

I looked through the other post and downloaded the file. But I don't think it's the same.

I am asking if it's possible to have a dynamic matrix (or table) with the next X months in and another set of values under them.

Hi @donaldo

As we known,we need drag columns from data to the matrix visual's columns.I think there's no better way to create a dynamic column and drag it to matrix's column. It would be better to use table visual and create dynamic measure in the file to achieve that.
