Table or Matrix with fields from three or more tables (SSAS Tabular model)

I have a SSAS Tabular Model (diagram attached).  When I add a table or matrix to my PowerBI report, I can only add fields from two tables.  If I add a field from a third table, I get an error "Can't display Visual".

Example: RepositoryStudentTerm.tnid and RepositoryStudentIdentification.gender together work fine.  I get data displayed.  If I add RepositoryStudentIdentification.race, I'm still fine.  If, however, I add something from a third table like RepositoryStudentAddress.state, I get the error.

In the model, everything is joined through RepositoryStudentTerm on a field called StudentTermCK.  Everything is a one to many from RepositoryStudentTerm as the one, with two-way filters.

Perhaps this is more an SSAS question than a PowerBI question, but PowerBI is the only tool I use for presentation of SSAS Tabular models.

I'm having the same problem with one of mine and wondered whether you had any success with resolving your issue.

I'd be grateful for any advice you may have.

Hi Jayeckles,

I have tested it on my local environment, we cannot reproduce this issue, I can display the columns from multiple tables into one visual without any problems.

In order to verify if the issue is related to your tabular model, you can install Adventure Works Internet Sales Tabular Model in your test environment and check if this issue persists or not, the sample project is available on the link below.
