Table filtering vs slicer filtering

I have a page with a few sicers and two tables.

I use the slicers to to get my filtered list of data to my first table.

I then select an indivedual row from the first table to filter deeper to the second table.

This all works fine.

The problem is when I select any row in the second table it turns the filtering off of the selected row I had from the first table.

Is there any way to get table filtering to lock the second table like a slicer does.

I have tried edit interactions off between second table to first table  but it still unselects first table inturn unfiltering the second table.

Not really. There is the "Right click and select [Include]" option but it also behaves weirdly by adding page level filters.

Maybe consider drillthrough?

Hi @nrowey ,

According to my test, now Power BI does not support the feature. You can create an idea here. Or use other functions to replace it.
