Syntax error!

New Measure error msg: Not sure how to address this msg?

The syntax for 'actual' is incorrect. (DAX(datediff(manufacture actual end date, manufacture actual start date, day))).

Hi @v-diye-msft ,

Thanks for your reply. I figured it out!

The error msg had to do with how I referenced the date fields from my table. Thanks,

Regards,

Steve

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please let us know what does "manufacture actual end date"&"manufacture actual start date" represent? If they're measures or columns?

I think it should prabably refer to the usage of Datediff, please see the official document making sure you applied it in the right way: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/datediff-function-dax

if the issue still exist, it's preferred to share us your detailed data that would be easier for us to find the point.

Best regards,

Dina Ye
