Synchronized Y-axis Limits.

I know this question has been raised many times, but every time the answer is rather a workaround than an actual solution. Basically, I have two charts, both showing similar properties but from different tables and I'd like the y-axis to be synchronized between each other. For example, if I set a slicer to property "A", both charts will show that property plotted on the y-axis with exactly the same Start and End values.

Changing them manually wouldn't be a  for me.

  • Use Small Multiples instead of separate charts.  Y axis ranges are synchronized between the elements of small multiples.

    Hi KamranAbbas,

In you case, you need create a new dimension as y-axis.

And the create measures to associate the two fields corresponding to the y-axis in each of the two tables with the dimension.

You can refer to this post to create the dimension table and use it as the common y-axis, also you need to create the measure to associate the common y-axis with the other two fields and add the filters you need to the measure.

    New dimension:

Associate the common y-axis with the other two fields:

Then drag the common y-axis into the two charts.

If you still have some question, please don't hesitate to let me known.‌‌

    Best Regards,
