Switching Dimensions based on slicer selection

Hi,

I have 3 tables as follows:

Table 1:

Report
A
B

Table 2:

Segment Amount
North100
East200
South300
West200
Central400

Table 3:

Segment Amount
North100
East300
Central500

Now I will add report column from table 1 to slicer,

If 'A' is selected in slicer, I want to show segment and amount from Table 2

If 'B' is selected in slicer, I want to show segment and amount from Table 3

Please help me to do.

Thanks,

AshDil.

Hi,  @AshDil

As @Ashish_Mathur said , you have to consider integrating the data from Tables 2 and Table3.
I have created a sample file for your reference. Hope it will help you.

Hi,

Here's my suggestion:

  1. In the Query Editor, add a Report column in Table 2 with all A's in that column
  2. In the Query Editor, add a Report column in Table 3 with all B's in that column
  3. Append Table 2 and Table 3
  4. Create a relationship from the Report column of the appended table to Table 1.
  5. Build your slicer from Table 1
  6. Build your visual
