Hi there,
I'm connected to a centralized dataset (live connection), which does not allow me to create a calculated column in report.
I want to swap column values to display based on a condition.
If I create a matrix based on the data it will look like the table below on left, but I need to create a matrix similar to the right side.
Column payment and components will be swaped based on the following condition.
IF Sub Status = 'Full' THEN Payment ELSE Components
Please note, column values are coming from two different Dims.
Best way to achieve this? Is it possible to do code in my report or it has to be a calculated column in my centralized dataset?
Thank you
@Anonymous it is always recommended to do at the source since the same dataset will be used in other reports and logic will flow thru to other reports as well. anyhow, you cannot add a calculated column when live connection, in this case, you have to do it at the source.
