does Power BI support Parquet or sequence file format, /cry, only text or open format for connecting to HDFS?

The Parquet or sequence file format seems related to hadoop? I totally have no idea about them, as to Hadoop HDFS, there's a specific connector("get data"->"other"->"Hadoop Files(HDFS)").
Parquet does not need to be in HDFS. I regularly use the format becuase it is partitioned and includes the data schema. Extremely useful and time-saving. https://github.com/apache/parquet-mr
