Summing columns from 2 tables with conditions

Hi,

I am trying to sum the hours from 2 tables which they have no relationship. Table 1 below got the odometer reading of a vehicle every week. Table 2 is when we have replaced and reset the odometer.

When I am after is how can I add the odometer reading before the replacement on top on the weekly reading based on the date and the equipment number (screen shot below only filtered to just 1 equipment, but there are more in the table).

Thanks in advance.

How about appending both the tables in one and then sort it based on date and Equipment number?
