Can someone please comment on the SUMMARIZe function? I was under impression that since there are 11 values for manufacturers there should be 11 rows for each colour. I am however sometimes getting 11 and sometimes 10 rows.

SUMMARIZE will return only combinations of the GroupBy columns that exist in the (expanded) table specified in the first argument. SUMMARIZE is effectively grouping the first table argument by the specified GroupBy columns.
In this example, only combinations of Brand/Color that exist in 'Product' will appear in the result.
For example, the Color "Transparent" appears only in combination with Brand "Contoso, Ltd".
