Hi,
I have a sales table that looks similar to this table:
How can I return the rank of the selected sales person (selectedvalue), after all sales amounts have been summed up based on the sales person, e.g. the rank for selectedvalue = 1 should be 1, selectedvalue = 3 should be 2 and selectedvalue = 2 should be 3?
I have tried using the rank function, but I am struggling to add the amounts first.
Thanks for any hints!
@Anonymous read this for ranking and that will do it.

Interesting read, thanks for sharing. But how do I include the selectedvalue portion? I need this, because my table with the sales staff and my sales are not connected.

@Anonymous once it is ranked on all customers, then you can just slice by any customer and you will get a rank. You have to first rank it to get that going and then come to selectedvalue.
