Struggling with Bookmarks

Select ia slicer on the left

I have this Power BI report, where I select an individual with the slicer circled on the left. Ideally when I select an individual it should bring up the data and be on the bookmark associated with the "Summary" tab, on which I have a bookmark button. This option brings up all the rows without any filters. The other 2 tabs are bookmarks to the same visualisation and data selection, except that via the filter pane I have activated a Customer/Non-Customer field.

The desired behaviour is that whenever I select an indiviual, under any tab, it returns that individual's rows, appropriateed filtered for that tab.  If I have selected an individual using the slicer, and then I click on another tab, the individual's data shuold be displayed, appropriately filtered for that tab.

I've tried various combinations of the 'data' option on the bookmarks options, but I haven't managed to get it working correctly. I'll get it jumping back to the individual I selected when I first saved the benchmark, or I'll sometimes only get the buttons to be responsive after re-reselecting an individual via the slicer. I'd appreciate some ideas.

Take copy of your slicers and paste them into each additional page you have, you can set them to hidden, but do ensure you have slicer syncing enabled!

Within your bookmarks change them to 'Selected Visuals' and only update your bookmark with the visuals highlighted that you want to keep.

This way you can exclude your slicer selections from the bookmark and sync slicers will keep your pages with the correct values

  • Remove the Data option in each bookmark and update them all, that should work.

If you remove the Data options then the pane filters don't save with each of the bookmarks. When I have 'data' and 'all visuals' checked, I move between the bookmarks perfectly. However If I change the filter selection then when I click on a bookmark button it takes me back to the filter selection when the bookmark was created. It seems as if I can't keep both the filter setting for each bookmark as well as the current slicer setting. Is there a way to do this? f I can't  thatuse the pane filters then I guess I can build 2 different visualisations as workarounds, but I'd like to avoid that.
