Hi,
I have a dataflow which pulls the following data:
Rem. House Purchase. Advance
2% 6% 2%
The problem that I have is that it doesn'thave a date stamp so when I run it today and then tomorrow, I'll have 1 row of data but the values could change.
What I want is to keep today's values and add a date it was updated and then tomorrow, the values append yesterday's so it would look something like this:
Rem. House Purchase. Advance. Date
2% 6% 2% 15/05/24
3% 5% 2% 16/05/24
Is there anyway of doing this please?
Power BI has no memory. You need to manage your snapshots in the upstream system. Or consider moving to Fabric data lakes. Dataflow Gen2 have Append options.
Thanks. Any idea how we could do this within a dataflow?
Not possible in a Gen1 dataflow. I don't have enough experience with Gen 2 dataflows but it might be possible there,
