Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a stacked bar chart but I would like to have a total at the top of the stacked bar chart.
The months are selected by user but it's limited to 13 months only so the total needs to reflect that too.
Currently this chart below is built in excel using a plug-in but would be great if we can achieve somewhat close to how it look:
I am not sure how to add a total like this to stack chart, can someone advice me on this please.
Kind Regards.
@micky123 ,
The grand total functionality is not available in stacked/column charts in Power BI Desktop, an idea about this issue has been submitted in this link, please vote it up.
In addition, you can use the workaround that WillT mentioned in this similar thread, create same chart but not with X-Axis, turn on data labels and then place it behind the first one.
Regards,
Lydia
@v-yuezhe-msft Thanks, I am going to try work around this issue.
Do you know if there's any custom visuals that will allow this?
Thanks
@micky123,
Based on my search, there is no custom visual providing this feature.
Regards,
Lydia
