Stacked Column with Quarterly Running Total
I would like to make a Stacked Column Chart, like the picture shown.
I need to show the sum for each quarter, stacked on top of each other, to show the running total in each quarter.
I have number the amount for each quarter and quarter values. I do not have dates.

I created a sample pbix file(see the attachment), please check if that is what you want. Toggle on the option "Data labels" and "Total labels" in Format pane:

However, when I put my info into the chart, the categories do not stack. In my data table the values do not repeat per quarter. Do I need to make a measure for running total, and if so how?

Could you please provide some raw data in your table (exclude sensitive data) with Text format, your visual Fields settings and your expected result with backend logic and special examples? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following links to share the required info:
