I'm having a difficult time understanding why the data labels are limited to only showing 2 data labels, Category 3 should 1 but it's not appearing, please see image below.
Currently using Stacked column chart.

Unfortunately this is standard behaviour when there is not enough space to show the value. you have the following options.
1. the report reader can hover over the area to see the value
2. you can try to make the size of the data label smaller in the formatting under data label
3. you can make the visual bigger by incresing the height (see below)
after making it bigger

solved the problem. you needed to put label format to 100% (used to be 50%)
@Mikelytics - thank you, although it is not intuitive to go that route, if only the bars could be extended rather than extending the whole visual. Would you happen to know if there's a thread revolving around this from MSFT? Something that should probably be in their updates.
