Splitting Columns

Hello,

I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to split a certain column on a sales report that is sent to me every day.

The problem is that the data I receive shows for every transaction the quantity and description of each product bought, but the thing is that the products are not separated by a delimiter.

What I need is to be able to split into rows for each of the products of every transaction and also split the quantity into a column.

I have tried everything but I have been unsuccesful.

Here is a PBI example that shows the problem: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Amte2hTgUGZMmtA3qt--OYK3V76TAQ?e=spMICI

Hi @Anonymous,

You need tonselect the column then go to transformation and split columns by delimeter. Select the option split in row and the by special character line break.
You will a row per line the select the split by delimeter again but select to columns and the character should be the X you have.

This shoul give expected result.

Check documentation.
