Hi everyone,
I would like to ask. Is it possible to define formatting for specific column for matrix visual in JSON file?
I tried this:
"pivotTable": {
"*": {
"columnFormatting": [
{
"styleHeader": true,
"styleSubtotals": false,
"styleTotal": false,
"styleValues": false,
"alignment": "Left",
"backColor": {
"solid": {
"color": {
"expr": {
"ThemeDataColor": {
"ColorId": 1,
"Percent": 0
}
and this one:
"pivotTable": {
"*": {
"columnFormatting": [
{"properties":{
"backColor":{"solid":{"color":{"expr":{"Literal":{"Value":"#E6E6E6"}}}}},
"styleSubtotals":false,
"styleValues":false,
"styleHeader":true,
"alignment":"Center"},
"selector":{"metadata":"Calculations.PY*"}},
but it's not working at all.
Thanks a lot! 🙂
Could not find the solution as well.
Specific column is not part of JSON at all ☹️
Hello @LuciaK ,
You could easily specify it on the visual itself by each column.

Hello @Idrissshatila
I know but we have many reports with the same formatting for matrix visuals so it'll be very helpful to have it defined once in the theme template.
