Is there a way to get the source filename of a DirectQuery Table in a powerbi file?
Edit: sorry for misunderstanding, table is in live mode not import mode...
Solved! Go to Solution.
TMSCHEMA.PARTITIONS has zero value as it just shows the table name and not its origin.
That DMV query shows the entire Power Query code, including source server and database in the [QueryDefinition] column.
What is your Direct Query source?
The table is imported from another powerbi but i dont know where, that's what I'm trying to find out as it was not done by me unfortunately. I cannot get any information about the source of my imported data.
Falsche Terminologie. Die Source ist in Live Mode, nicht in Import Mode.
For those sources use TMSCHEMA.EXPRESSIONS
thx!
Run a DMV query against TMSCHEMA.PARTITIONS
