Source control pbix files with collaboration with team at the same time.

Hi,

I wanted to know if we can source and version control pbix files and if they can be sync'd and merged. eg: if 2 people are working on the same pbix file at the same time, can they work independently and can they both merge the 2 files? Looking for something what Github does on code.

GitHub would give you version control but not source control.

You could also use OneDrive for Business or Sharepoint for version control.

There is this tool Power BI Version Control Download -

You can vote for this idea to build GitHub support into PBI Microsoft Idea · Built in Git support in PowerBI Desktop

I am not aware of any. I've searched and found nothing.  Vote for that Idea I Iinked to and tell Microsoft you want it.
