Dear PBI community,
I would like to kindly ask for a help.
I have 2 treemap charts, each is representing the share of given category for this year and last year.
I would like to sort the categories, that each category will be next each other - that means that for example category in orange colour of 1 chart, will be next the orange colour category in the second chart.
I wanted to sorted the categories alphabetically, but didn´t find how. Does anyone know?
Many thanks!
Jan Novotny
Dear @Pragati11,
Many thanks for your reply.
Do you know any alternatives? For example any extension from "next visuals"?
Thank you again and have a nice weekend,
Jan N
HI @hnowotny17 ,
Is it possible for you to share your pbix file to try a workaround at my side?
Or if you can share some sample data?
If you share Pbix file make sure to remove any sensitive data. You can share a dropbox link or WeTransfer,
Dear @Pragati11,
many thanks for you wilingness to help.
I´ve created the example file and uploaded to One Drive: Vertical charts.pbix
If you will have any idea, how tho sort that categories to be next each other I would really appreciate.
Have a nice day,
Jan Novotny
Is this what you are looking for?

Dear @Ahmedx,
Could you please tell me, how did you make it? 🙂
Many thanks and have a nice day,
Jan N
HI @hnowotny17 ,
Unfortunately you can't sort the order on a Treemap visual by a categorical field.
It by default shows the category with maximum value as first section.
