I have a dataset that looks like below.
I'd like to create a clustered column chart that is sorted by bank with the highest count of total deals and then by year.
At the moment, my chart looks like the below.
The order should be Bank A (2019, 2021, 2022), Bank B (2019, 2020), Bank C (2021, 2022)
Is there a way I can do this?
Bank | Year | Deal |
Bank A | 2019 | Company 1 |
Bank A | 2019 | Company 2 |
Bank A | 2021 | Company 3 |
Bank A | 2021 | Company 4 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 5 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 6 |
Bank B | 2019 | Company 7 |
Bank B | 2019 | Company 8 |
Bank B | 2020 | Company 9 |
Bank B | 2020 | Company 10 |
Bank C | 2021 | Company 11 |
Bank C | 2022 | Company 12 |
Thank you Vicky. But I'm still having the same issue. I think the example I gave was bad because the deal in each year for each bank was the same.
What is the table had more deals for 2022?
How can you sort by total deal count for the bank and the year?
Eg.
Bank | Year | Deal |
Bank A | 2019 | Company 1 |
Bank A | 2019 | Company 2 |
Bank A | 2021 | Company 3 |
Bank A | 2021 | Company 4 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 5 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 6 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 7 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 8 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 9 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 10 |
Bank A | 2022 | Company 11 |
Bank B | 2019 | Company 12 |
Bank B | 2019 | Company 13 |
Bank B | 2020 | Company 14 |
Bank B | 2020 | Company 15 |
Bank C | 2021 | Company 16 |
Bank C | 2022 | Company 17 |
You can put bank and year on the same x-axis. If the order is sorted incorrectly, click the three dots and check that it makes sense there
