I have create a report that uses a tabular. The report lists the months as columns and the sales as values. A calculation has been created (Offset Month) in the tabular model that works out the offset for each month and provides and ID e.g. Jan = 1, Feb = 2. I want the report to be ordered by the Offset Month field and not be displayed on the report. Is this possible?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Yes, it is possible to sort a column by another column. You can do so in the 'Data' section of Power BI desktop.
- Select the column you want sorted (in your case: Month Name)
- Click 'Sort by Column' in the ribbon under 'Modeling'
- In your case choose column 'Offset Month'
