Something Went Wrong: An error occurred while rendering this report

After the June 2019 Power BI Update, in some of the PBI reports I am getting the following error:

"Something Went Wrong: An error occurred while rendering this report"

This error does not seem to effect the report when it is published to Power BI service though.

The issue was with the custom JSON theme file I used in the PBI file. Once I modified the JSON file, I was not geeting the error anymore.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I had this issue ever, just clicked "Cancel", it seemed to affect nothing. Or try to restart the Power BI Desktop.

If you still have this issue for Power BI, you can also create a support ticket in Power BI Support to get further help.

Best Regards,

Amy
