@FatimaBatool , has it ever worked fine, or it is crashing since you started using Power BI?

Two checks:
1) what is your pc strength - Ram memory? If Ram memory is less than 8gb, and you have a lot of browser pages open, it will "eat" all the memory. You can check this in control panel -> system information
2) try reinstalling Power BI desktop app using Microsoft Store

Hi @FatimaBatool

Firstly, it's important to ensure that your Power BI Desktop is up to date. Microsoft frequently releases updates that improve performance and fix known issues. You can check for updates by going to File > Help > Check for updates in Power BI Desktop.
If your Power BI Desktop is already up to date, the next step is to clear the cache for Power BI Desktop. Sometimes, corrupted cache files can cause unexpected crashes. Delete any files located in the cache folders.
Another common cause for crashes during data transformation is related to the data source itself or the complexity of the transformations being applied. To troubleshoot this:
Try simplifying your transformations temporarily to see if a specific transformation is causing the crash.
Ensure that your data source is accessible and that there are no connectivity issues. Lastly, if you're working with large datasets, consider checking if your system meets the recommended hardware requirements for Power BI Desktop.
