I have a fact table in which I'm capturing Inventory levels with a 30 minute snapshot. I'm capturing Date and Time in separate fields. I also have a Date dimension and a Time dimension.
My problem is that in Power BI, I need to have a higher granularity - up to the hour level - than the fact table, which is 30 minutes. Otherwise, I have a lot of double counting because it's summing both the 30 minute and 00 minute amounts for each hour.
I also need to be able to show the amount for the most recent date/time to get the "current amount".
Any help with how to handle this would be appreciated.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Could you please share some sample data and share more information about your problem? I found that I can't understand this problem well.
